BRUEGGER'S, DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, OHIO
For the last few months, we have been part of the team
repositioning this key player in the bagel market. Team
members include Bruegger's, King Casey Inc., Ten United,
and Vinick Associates, Inc.. We at Vinick Associates, Inc.
are spearheading the interpretation of the "brand" into the
first retail location.
Early this fall, the new Bruegger's will open in Deerfield
Township in Ohio. The store is not just another "pretty face"
in the gourmet fast food market, but utilizes the latest
multifunctional food service equipment to meet the expanded menu.
Vinick Associates, Inc. is providing the design and construction
documents for the new Bruegger's location.
THE RETREAT, HARTFORD, CT
Working with the Community Renewal Team and its project management
team, we are providing interior design services for this congregate
housing project in Hartford's South End. The largely Hispanic and
Italian population of the area are being considered in the design
solutions provided by Vinick Associates, Inc. Services include
specification of all finishes, furnishings, window treatments, way
finding and accessories. Currently these items are out to bid or
under construction. It is expected that The Retreat will be open in
early January 2005.
GOLFERS' WAREHOUSE, HARTFORD, CT
Following the opening of the Golfers' Clubhouse store in Braintree, MA,
we designed the Natick store. In the Fall of 2003 we started design of
the company's new flagship store, "Golfer's Warehouse" in Hartford, CT.
The new Hartford store opened in March of this year. Patterned after
the previous two designs, the Hartford store makes use of a long narrow
footprint for the approximately 16,000 sq. ft. store.
Unlike the Golfers' Clubhouse stores, the new Golfers' Warehouse features
a more color intense pallet which hits the mark in its ability to
differentiate departments and highlight the merchandise.
RESIDENCE, WEST HARTFORD, CT
This is the third house interior redesigned for this client. The goal
was to make the large cavernous rooms relate more to human scale. Through
lighting, moldings, paint, wallcovering, and some architectural detailing
the house is transformed.
The kitchen has been redesigned, the breezeway converted into a cozy TV
nook with fireplace, and a wide back hallway upstairs adapted as a
computer game loft.
